What is the solubility of sodium acetate in absolute ethanol at room temperature? Is it low, moderate or high? Where might I find information like this?

I found a few sources on the Web. One of the most common seems to be MSDS. For example, this one reports solubility of 3.2% wt @ room temperature for the anhydrous material. This is not a good way to find this information, though. It would be preferable to have a free, Web-hosted system dedicated to looking up, reporting, and reviewing solubility data. More traditionally, you might give the CRC Handbook a try. |
